The Escapists 2 has a strong OpenCritic rating with Dave Gamble from Gaming Nexus saying it is a “worthy successor”. However, Kimberley Wallace from Game Informer warns that “Tedium sets in quickly.

“Plenty to discover, but tedium sets in quickly, particularly when faced with an abrupt loss of progress.”

‘Killing Floor 2’

Killing Floor 2, which was developed and published by Tripwire Interactive, contains mature content recommended for gamers over the age of 18. Sorry, kiddos. According to the developers:

Players descend into continental Europe after it has been overrun by horrific, murderous clones called Zeds.

Zeds were created by rogue elements of the Horzine Corporation. Get ready for all-round fun because Killing Floor 2 is a 6-player and 12-player co-op against the Zed slaughtering mayhem.

While Killing Floor 2’s wave-based combat is conceptually reminiscent of Halo’s Firefight and Gears of War’s Horde modes, the flow of a match is more analogous to Battlefield or Call of Duty.
