Storage

The Huawei Y5p comes standard with 2GB ram, while the 32 GB storage ensures you have enough space to store all those family photos and cute videos of your children (and/or pets).

If you need more storage, the Huawei Y5p has a triple-slot design that supports two nano-SIM cards and a MicroSD card with extendable storage of up to 512 GB. Do note, the phone won’t ship with a MicroSD card.

Battery

The 3020mAh battery will keep you going for approximately 17 hours on one charge of continuous video playback. That’ also translates to 21 hours of 4G calling or 13 hours of internet surfing on 4G.

But wait, there’s more. The Huawei Y5p supports full power consumption protection, as well as AI Power-saving technology that can detect background apps that consume too much power and automatically shut them down

Camera specifications

Huawei’s most affordable smartphone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera to snap selfies with ease. In addition, the main camera supports HDR mode.

HDR mode offers specific brightness adjustments for photos by brightening the dark parts of your shots and subduing the overexposed parts of your shots. In short, it reproduces fine details while adding an extra dimension to photos.

Performance

Powered by MediaTek’s octa-core processor, the Y5p is equipped with eight Cortex-A53 cores. Thanks to Huawei’s AI scheduling technology, the Y5p delivers smooth and fast performance, even after hours of use.

“Whether you’re a gamer or a music aficionado, the Huawei Y5p will provide a satisfying user experience for your favourite activities”.
