Hot Pursuit Remastered’ gets 6 November release date
A remastered version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will soon be released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on 6 November as well as a Nintendo Switch release on 13 November.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a fan favourite in the franchise and debuted in 1998. The remastered version isn’t an update of the original title though but rather will be based on the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit title from 2010.

The updated game will also include the same cops vs racers motif and vehicles and updates will take advantage of the current-gen consoles.
There will be cross-platform multiplayer support as well as Autolog, which is a cross-platform sync. All DLC’s will also be available, and the digital size of the game will be about 6.9 GB.
It will definitely be able to run on Nintendo Switch with all these added features allowing you to play with a friend no matter what system they are using.
New challenges and extended gameplay
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will allow players to revisit the game with all-new enhanced visuals. There are now higher resolution textures, models with better reflections and shadows.
The game looks super cool and impressive in the trailer as well as the screenshots. The remastered game will keep DLC’s from the original like loads of car packs, more than 30 new challenges, and extended gameplay.
The trailer also revealed that the multiplayer feature will show cross-play and rankings of your friends’ scores on leaderboards.

There is also a Rebel Racer pack, Super Sports pack, an Armed and Dangerous pack, Lamborghini Untamed pack and the Porsche Unleashed pack.
All these will be available at launch, and EA adds that this creates “an extra six hours of gameplay and more than 30 challenges”.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 6 November 2020, and on Nintendo Switch on 13 November 2020.
