New next-gen game trailer drops to much hype

Let me be honest with you; I am generally not a fan of sports games. They are not the kind of games I can get lost in for hours. Having said this, I had to take a peek at the trailer for the next-gen trailer for NBA 2K21; and boy was I hyped.

NBA 2K21: Here’s what we know

New features and graphic advancements

The trailer looked freaking amazing! Sports games seem to be the benchmark to see what console is capable of. The whole point is to make the experience look and feel as realistic as possible.

This next-gen version of NBA 2K21 has definitely expanded and improved on a lot of features from the older versions of the game. There are great leaps in graphical advancements such as lighting, animations, textures, and physics.

There is this really cool tracking shot in the trailer that follows the Dallas Mavericks player Luka Dončić as he walks out of a tunnel. The beautiful shot and the graphical fidelity and realism in his movements were just (chef’s kiss.)

The game also adds a Mamba Forever Edition that features Kobe Bryant a fitting tribute to his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time.

The attention to detail in regard to the athletes’ facial expressions and mannerisms is insanely impressive, and I’m really curious to see how they will play out during actual gameplay.

On-court collision engines and animation creates for a much smoother and tougher game than before. Arenas are jam-packed with energy as 150 unique AI-driven characters create an ambience of a great Lower Bowl Experience.

The game will also be accompanied by an expanded soundtrack which will have about 202 songs at launch.
