The game was a spin-off from the main series of games and was developed by Obsidian Entertainment instead of Bethesda.

Now that Microsoft has acquired Bethesda, it owns both the Fallout franchise and the studio that made New Vegas, giving fans hopes for a New Vegas 2.

The project uses the Fallout 4 creation engine tools with excellent results, as the new gameplay trailer shows off a broad look into the world of New Vegas reimagined.

Fallout: New Vegas gained cult classic status when it was created as a Fallout spin-off by Obsidian and, when Microsoft purchased Obsidian, it was nearing the completion phase for its space-faring RPG The Outer Worlds.

“You will be able to battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland once again all way to the neon-drenched New Vegas Strip. Along the way, you’ll be reintroduced to a colourful cast of characters, factions, mutated creatures, and much more in Fallout 4.”

The mod team then shared a preview of what the remake mod’s dialogue will look like along with new voice acting. Fallout: New Vegas’s strong popularity can be because of its robust systems and replayability.

Players each get a different gameplay experience that aligns with different factions. There are also new ways for character building and a Hardcore mode for anyone craving a bit of a challenge.

There’s no release date yet for Fallout 4: New Vegas, but it’s encouraging to see that the team is working passionately on the project. Fans can still get involved by signing up or visiting the Discord server for the project.
