Acer’s TravelMate Notebooks

If you’re looking for a top-of-the-range laptop, you simply cannot go wrong with Acer’s TravelMate Notebook series of commercial notebooks for enterprise and business users.

The new TravelMate Spin P4 is a convertible notebook with a touch screen, which turns into a “powerful and portable notebook for those who prefer traditional clamshell model”, according to Acer.

Acer also announced the TravelMate P2, which is a “durable notebook with enough ports and battery life to handle anything that comes up in a day’s work”. This makes it the ideal travel device.

The perfect travel companion

The TravelMate series features 11th-generation Intel Core processors, coupled with Iris X graphics or the NVIDIA GeForce MX350. It will certainly pack a punch and the battery won’t let you down either.

You’d be able to get a full day’s worth of work out of both the TravelMate Spin P2 and the Spin 4. According to Acer, the TravelMate Spin P2 battery will last up to 13 hours, and you’d get approximately 15 hours from the Spin 4 on a full charge.

James Lin, General Manager, Notebooks, IT Products Business, at Acer Inc explained that people are “increasingly working on the go” and in places other than the office.

Military-grade durability

This is the new normal, after all. Lin added:

“We’ve designed this generation of TravelMate notebooks around that trend. Military-grade durability to survive the bumps and drops of daily life, enough battery life to get through the entire workday and a generous array of ports. These are a line of reliable devices for people that need to get the job done”.

As for pricing and availability, the TravelMate P2 will be released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa during November, with a price tag of $799, while the TravelMate P4 has a December release date a price point of $899.99
