Huge success with 2.2 million launch sales

Square Enix’s Avengers hit 2.2 million sales in its first month on the market and is now the second-biggest digital launch for the publisher after Final Fantasy VII: Remake, according to SuperData’s Research report.

Marvel’s Avengers sales: What you should know

The game even has gone on to top September’s NPD charts in the United States and has become the second-best launch of a superhero title in that country; it has also become the third best-selling console game in September 2020.

“Total digital sales were roughly the same as the last major superhero game, PlayStation 4 exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man. Avengers also took design cues from the looter shooter subgenre and had a launch performance that fell between Destiny 2 and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.”

This proves that there is a potential userbase of interested customers. If Crystal Dynamics, the American video game developer, adds more content, preferably some endgame content, the game could become the game to watch.

Marvel’s Avengers beta

The beta phase version of the game attracted 5 million players and the movies Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame prove that the brand still has a massive fanbase.

Marvel’s Avengers is a kick-ass, shield-throwing, third-person, action-adventure game that combines original and cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay.

Assemble with Cap and a team of up to four players online, to master abilities, customise your growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth.

What to expect from Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers will start at A-Day, where the ever so handsome Captain America and team unveil the new Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco.

The party turns sour when a new enemy causes a devastating catastrophe that the Avengers are blamed for resulting in all Super Heroes being outlawed.

They disband, but after five years the world is in peril, sparking a call to adventure when a young woman named Kamala Khan sets out to reassemble the Avengers to stop a new secretive force known as AIM.

Marvel’s Avengers continues the epic adventure with new Heroes and a new narrative delivered on an ongoing basis, for the perfect Avengers gaming experience; it’s currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Protection Status
