Tesla Unveils Retro-Futuristic Diner as Elon Musk Hints at Upcoming Locations

The Tesla Diner & Drive-In, an eagerly awaited venue that combines retro aesthetics with a futuristic atmosphere, along with the automaker’s fast-charging network, officially opened at 4:20 p.m. on Monday in Hollywood, California.

This diner serves as a spot for Tesla drivers to recharge their EVs while indulging in classic diner favorites such as hamburgers and hot dogs (full menu shared by Eater). According to reports from Not a Tesla App, the diner boasts a selection of Tesla-branded merchandise, an Optimus robot, and two impressive 45-foot LED movie screens, aiming to appeal to more than just Tesla fans.

While it’s still early to determine if this diner, featuring 80 v4 Supercharger stalls and a drive-in cinema synchronized with in-car speakers, will become a lasting symbol of Hollywood, the long lines observed on Monday morning suggest that it may attract visitors for the foreseeable future.

Prior to the grand opening, Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted at the possibility of bringing the diner concept to a global audience.

“If our retro-futuristic diner is a success, which I am confident it will be, @Tesla plans to introduce these in major cities worldwide, as well as at Supercharger locations along long-distance routes,” Musk shared on X.
