NotebookLM’s Video Overview Feature Now Available in 80 Languages

On Monday, Google announced enhancements to the Video Overviews feature of NotebookLM, expanding support to 80 languages, including French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. Additionally, the Audio Overviews have been improved, resulting in more thorough non-English audio summaries.

NotebookLM launched Video Overviews last month, allowing users to convert their notes, PDFs, and images into video presentations. Initially exclusive to English, this update marks a significant step for non-English speakers seeking visual summaries in their preferred language.

Moreover, improvements to Audio Overviews are also being made for non-English users. Previously limited to brief summaries, with the complete version available only in English, users can now enjoy more detailed overviews in over 80 languages. The company also notes that a concise overview option will remain available for those wanting just the essential points.
