Cloud Provider Lambda Set to Explore IPO Opportunities

Cloud provider Lambda seems to be gearing up for a public offering, following the lead of rival CoreWeave.

As reported by The Information, Lambda, an AI infrastructure firm that focuses on on-demand GPUs, has started discussions with investment banks in anticipation of an IPO. They are believed to have enlisted Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and Citi for a public listing potentially slated for the first half of 2026.

Lambda has yet to issue a statement regarding this news.

According to data from Crunchbase, the company has raised over $1.7 billion in funding from multiple investors, including Nvidia, Alumni Ventures, and Andra Capital, among others. Their most recent funding round was a Series D, which brought in $480 million in February.

Lambda’s key competitor, CoreWeave, went public successfully in March of this year.
