In the last week, the NFT market has faced a drastic drop, with sales decreasing by 22.65% to $104.5 million. This decline is among the most prominent weekly decreases seen recently, despite a slight recovery in cryptocurrency values.
According to data from CryptoSlam, there has been a rise in market activity, with NFT buyers up by 14.89% to 622,535 and sellers increasing by 16.25% to 447,821. Nonetheless, the total NFT transaction volume has dipped by 3.07% to 1,699,318.
This trend coincides with Bitcoin (BTC) surpassing $110,000, while Ethereum (ETH) remains steady at around $4,300.
The overall market capitalization of cryptocurrencies has increased to $3.81 trillion, up from last week’s $3.75 trillion.
Ethereum Continues to Lead
Ethereum remains dominant with $37.7 million in sales, representing a 29.88% drop from the previous week. Additionally, wash trading on Ethereum has significantly fallen by 68.03% to $6.4 million.
Following closely is Polygon (POL) with $15.7 million in sales, reflecting a 17.43% decrease, while Mythos Chain ranks third with $10.1 million, only seeing a modest decrease of 1.73%.

BNB Chain (BNB) maintains its position in fourth place with $9.5 million, down 23.59%, while Bitcoin closes the top five with sales of $7.8 million, showing a 32.40% decline. Solana (SOL) follows in sixth place with $5.1 million, a decrease of 6.81%.
The number of buyers has risen across all key blockchain platforms, with Polygon leading at a growth rate of 38.34%. This is followed by BNB Chain at 23.11% and Ethereum at 21%.
Courtyard on Polygon heads the collection rankings with $14.6 million in sales, down 17.41%. Interestingly, this collection has witnessed a significant increase in sellers (333.68%) despite an 18.39% reduction in buyers.
CryptoPunks Displays Steady Growth
CryptoPunks remains in second place with $8 million, demonstrating a slight increase of 4.73%. It stands out as one of the few collections exhibiting positive growth amidst the overall market decline.
DMarket ranks third with $4.8 million, facing a 4.81% decrease, while DKTNFT on BNB Chain occupies the fourth slot with $3.9 million, marking a 7.84% increase.
Panini America enters the top five with $3.1 million, showcasing remarkable growth of 46.16% as interest in its digital trading card collection surges.
Guild of Guardians Heroes rounds out the top six with $2.8 million, down 27.50% as this gaming collection encounters various performance challenges.
