Google’s Pixel Event Set for August 12

Google is preparing for its Made by Google launch event scheduled for August 12 in New York City, as announced on Tuesday.

We are hopeful that this year’s event will surpass last year’s, which featured appearances from Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, and the Jonas Brothers.

There are numerous speculations regarding the upcoming Pixel 11 series. According to email invitations obtained by sources like The Verge and Bloomberg, the new devices are expected to introduce design upgrades, including a new gold color option for the Pixel 11.

Further leaks suggest that the standard Pixel 11 may feature thinner bezels and an elegant black camera bar, while the Pixel 11 Pro is said to be slightly more refined than its predecessor. Additionally, there’s talk of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which could come with a redesigned camera bump and a lighter construction compared to the last generation.

On a less favorable note, a report suggests that Google might eliminate the 128GB option for the new models, opting to begin with 256GB, which could lead to a higher price point.

Last year’s event took place on August 20, during which Google introduced the Pixel 10 series, AI-driven features, and additional products, including a new foldable, Pixel Watch 4, and the second generation of its affordable A-Series earbuds.
