Enhancing Valuation to $13.2B Through Compassionate Negotiations

Lovable, a Swedish startup focused on vibe coding, is currently in discussions to raise $300 million at a valuation of $13.2 billion—precisely double the $6.6 billion valuation it achieved last December, according to Sifted. The report indicates that Menlo Ventures, which recently rolled out its latest $3 billion fund, is slated to lead this investment round.

In less than three years, the startup has reached an annualized revenue run rate of $500 million as of June.

Lovable’s user demographic includes founders, individual designers, and sales professionals who are building websites and e-commerce platforms. The company also offers its vibe-coding tool to major corporations like Workday, Asana, and Nvidia.

Vibe coding, which allows users to create software simply by describing it, has emerged as the most prominent and profitable application of AI. Key players in the vibe-coding sector include Replit, valued at $9 billion in March, and Factory, a startup that aids companies in developing AI agents, which raised $150 million at a $1.5 billion valuation in April. Moreover, Cursor, targeting developers with vibe coding, was acquired by SpaceX for $60 billion last month.
