Peacock Raises Subscription Prices Across All Streaming Plans

Peacock has announced a rise in its subscription fees, with the basic ad-supported “Select” plan now priced at $8.99 per month, up from the previous $7.99. The ad-supported “Premium” plan is now $12.99 per month, increasing from $10.99, while the ad-free “Premium Plus” plan will rise from $16.99 to $19.99 monthly.

These new pricing structures will take effect on August 18 for both current and new subscribers. Existing customers will notice the updated charges in their billing cycles after September 17.

“These price adjustments enable Peacock to consistently improve the viewing experience for our users, maintain competitiveness in the industry, and offer exclusive content across diverse genres,” the company stated in its support documentation.

Subscribers with annual plans and those benefiting from existing promotional deals will keep their current rates until their plans or promotions expire.

Recently, Peacock introduced new features, including an AI-powered “Bravoverse” vertical video feed showcasing clips from popular series like “The Real Housewives” and “Vanderpump Rules.” Additionally, the platform will soon roll out a feature allowing fans to watch live sports in a vertical format, utilizing real-time AI technology for optimal cropping on mobile devices.

Moreover, two new mystery games—Law & Order: Clue Hunter and Public Eye—have been launched, developed by the AI gaming studio Wolf Games.

Last month, NBCUniversal also revealed that Peacock’s Premium plan will be accessible to YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. beginning in early 2027.

Since launching in 2020, the streaming service celebrated its first profitable quarter last month, hitting 48 million subscribers, significantly driven by events like the NBA playoffs, FIFA World Cup, and “Love Island.”

In line with other streaming services such as Netflix and HBO Max, Peacock has progressively increased its subscription fees over the years, with the most recent adjustment in July 2025, which raised the fee by $3. This marks the platform’s fourth price modification in four years.
