Peacock Raises Subscription Prices Across All Streaming Plans

Peacock has revealed an increase in its subscription fees, with the basic ad-supported “Select” plan now priced at $8.99 per month, up from the previous $7.99. The ad-supported “Premium” plan will rise to $12.99 monthly, up from $10.99, while the ad-free “Premium Plus” plan will see an increase from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.

These new rates will take effect on August 18 for both new and existing subscribers. Current subscribers will notice the updated prices applied during their next billing cycle after September 17.

“These pricing changes enable Peacock to consistently improve the viewing experience for our users, stay competitive in the industry, and offer exclusive content across various genres,” the company explained in its support documentation.

Subscribers on annual plans and those under active promotional rates will maintain their current pricing until their plans or offers conclude.

Recently, Peacock launched new functionalities, including an AI-driven “Bravoverse” vertical video feed that showcases clips from popular shows like “The Real Housewives” and “Vanderpump Rules.” The platform is also preparing to introduce a feature that allows fans to watch live games in a vertical format, employing real-time AI technology for improved cropping on mobile devices.

Additionally, two new mystery games, Law & Order: Clue Hunter and Public Eye, have been launched, developed by the AI gaming studio Wolf Games.

Last month, NBCUniversal declared that Peacock’s Premium plan would be available to YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S. starting in early 2027.

Since its launch in 2020, the streaming platform celebrated its first profitable quarter last month, amassing 48 million subscribers, largely attributed to events such as the NBA playoffs, FIFA World Cup, and “Love Island.”

Similar to other streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max, Peacock has been incrementally increasing its subscription rates over the past few years, following the last hike in July 2025, which added $3 to the cost. This marks the platform’s fourth price adjustment in four years.
