Nvidia Partners with Data Center Innovator Cloverleaf

Nvidia is diligently working to support the growth of AI, which has been a pivotal element in its achievements. On Friday, the company announced a partnership with Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a firm focused on laying the groundwork for data centers.

Established in 2024, Cloverleaf raised $300 million in funding during its inaugural year. The company acts as a liaison between utility companies and data centers, providing vital power resources and essential infrastructure for site development.

Although the specific details of the agreement remain undisclosed, the Wall Street Journal reports that Nvidia’s investment in Cloverleaf may reach several hundred million dollars. According to Reuters, the chip manufacturer has taken a minority share in the company. TechCrunch has contacted Nvidia for further information.

This collaboration aligns with Nvidia’s strategy to utilize its substantial profits to fuel the ongoing momentum of AI innovations. The company is adopting a more proactive stance in funding and developing AI data centers that ultimately procure its AI solutions. Earlier this week, Nvidia also unveiled a $1.5 billion investment in SB Energy, a data center project associated with OpenAI and based in Ohio.
