Apple to Hold iPhone Launch Event on September 9

On Wednesday, Apple announced that its much-anticipated launch event is set for September 9, carrying the tagline “Surprise and Shine.”

This occasion is expected to be monumental, as Apple is likely to unveil its long-awaited foldable iPhone. It will also be the first event hosted by John Ternus in his new role as CEO, who is taking over from Tim Cook on September 1.

Apple is expected to introduce the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max; however, rumors indicate that these models will feature only minor upgrades instead of a significant redesign. Reports suggest that the standard iPhone 18 will be postponed for a release next year.

Moreover, the tech giant is anticipated to reveal the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra, along with new smart home devices.
