Apple Contemplates Curved Glass Design for 20th Anniversary iPhone
In 2017, Apple made waves by introducing an iPhone with a complete all-screen design, featuring a notch and omitting the traditional home button to celebrate the device’s 10th anniversary. As we approach the 20th anniversary of the iPhone, a Bloomberg report suggests an exciting redesign focused on a sleek, curved glass aesthetic.
Expected to launch in 2027, the iPhone 20 is anticipated to showcase curved glass edges on all sides, reflecting the upcoming “Liquid Glass” design philosophy for the next iOS, according to Bloomberg.
Moreover, the report notes that before the launch of the 20th-anniversary iPhone, Apple plans to unveil its first foldable phone in 2026. The company is reportedly enhancing its display technology for this innovative foldable device, aiming for a screen that effectively hides any visible crease.
