Apple Could Opt for a Curved Glass Design for the 20th Anniversary iPhone
In 2017, Apple captured attention by launching an iPhone with a completely screen-based design, featuring a notch and eliminating the traditional home button, in honor of the device’s 10th anniversary. As the iPhone approaches its 20th anniversary, a Bloomberg report indicates a notable redesign that showcases a sleek, curved glass aesthetic.
Expected to debut in 2027, the iPhone 20 is likely to feature curved glass edges on every side, in line with the upcoming iOS’s anticipated “Liquid Glass” design philosophy, according to Bloomberg.
Furthermore, the report notes that ahead of the launch of the 20th anniversary iPhone, Apple intends to unveil its first foldable phone in 2026. The company is said to be evolving its screen technology for this new foldable device, aiming to create a display that effectively hides any visible crease.
