Apple Explores Curved Glass Design for 20th Anniversary iPhone
In 2017, Apple captured attention with the release of an iPhone that showcased a completely immersive all-screen design, complete with a notch and the removal of the traditional home button in honor of the device’s 10th anniversary. As we approach the iPhone’s 20th anniversary, a Bloomberg report suggests an exciting redesign focused on a sleek, curved glass look.
Slated for launch in 2027, the iPhone 20 is expected to feature rounded glass edges throughout, which aligns with the upcoming “Liquid Glass” design theme for the next iOS version, according to Bloomberg.
Additionally, the report mentions that before the release of the 20th-anniversary iPhone, Apple intends to unveil its first foldable smartphone in 2026. The company is said to be enhancing display technology for this innovative foldable device, striving to create a screen that reduces any visible crease.
