Apple Could Opt for a Curved Glass Design for the 20th Anniversary iPhone
In 2017, Apple captured attention by launching an iPhone featuring an all-screen design, complete with a notch and the removal of the classic home button to mark the device’s 10th anniversary. Now, as the iPhone approaches its 20th anniversary, a Bloomberg report suggests an exciting redesign that focuses on a sleek, curved glass aesthetic.
Scheduled for unveiling in 2027, the iPhone 20 is anticipated to exhibit curved glass edges on all sides, aligning with the expected “Liquid Glass” design philosophy of the upcoming iOS, as reported by Bloomberg.
Furthermore, the report indicates that before releasing the 20th-anniversary iPhone, Apple intends to debut its first foldable phone in 2026. The company is reportedly improving its screen technology for this innovative foldable device, aiming to create a display that effectively hides any visible crease.
